Hey-howdy-hey from a very overcast day at Magic Kingdom! There’s a lot in store today so let’s get going!
Starting off this cloudy day with a pleasant surprise, the Main Street Train Station is starting to be uncovered for the approaching 50th anniversary!
New trees were planted in front of Crystal Palace and Casey’s Corner following a set of new trees planted in EPCOT a few days prior to revive its past classic look.
Pavement work in Adventureland continues with a second area of cement being patched. The square of newly laid pavement just above the covered section was replaced just last week.
New Enchanted Tiki Room Wishables Plush sung their way into Magic Kingdom, and we were lucky enough to catch them all!
Plants, topiaries, and props normally seen above Pecos Bill’s Tall Tale Inn and Cafe and along various shops along Main Street U.S.A have been removed. We’re hoping the reason is for more pumpkins!
Scaffolding around Splash Mountain appeared to continue to be built up, and the ride was down most of the day.
Construction is Frontierland is movin’ Westward, Ho! with foundation to prepare for the new boardwalk boards and a freshly poured concrete ramp.
Frontierland Mercantile also saw some progress preparing for a new boardwalk, and the large tree that used to sit in front is being cut down.
Westward Ho Refreshments also has a new seasonal syrup – Pumpkin Spice!
Our dearly departed psychic, Madame Leota, now has her own Pandora charm that’s to die for!
Be Our Guest refurbishment continues with workers caulking the castle.
Work continues at Storybook Circus with workers climbing high on the Big Top Souvenirs tent to paint, which remains barricaded by colorful planter boxes during the refurbishment.
The mystery structure at TRON: Lightcycle Run continues to take shape as a new mystery structure appears on the pathway in the attraction area.
Our favorite refreshment stop in all of Tomorrowland, Cool Ship, reopened!
We spotted a new Disney Fab 50 statue plot right next to Cool Ship.
This new “Never too old for fairytales” mug flew into Star Traders for $14.99.
The Monsters Inc. Laugh Floor show times sign was put out ahead of its scheduled reopening.
The solvent for the freshly completed Tomorrowland pavement is almost fully covering the walkway, save a spot around the arm of the archway to the land.
The horticulture team at Walt Disney World has been busy; another Disney Fab 50 plot has been laid at the entrance to the Magic Kingdom!
The classic fall “See ya’ real soon!” pumpkins have been set over the archways as you exit the park.
As we made our way to Disney’s Contemporary Resort, scrim covering the outside of the resort has been replaced as work continues on the rooms within.
As the main lobby has been temporarily relocated to the second floor, the entire main floor of the lobby has been boarded up with signage for The Wave removed. Work can be seen on the lighting fixtures just above the construction walls.
Air ducts along the framing on the windows on either side of the resort are currently being replaced.
More new trees were added to the Transportation and Ticket Center security areas and palm trees along the pathway leading to Disney’s Polynesian Resort.
Heading over Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort, painters continue to touch up directional signs with the small plaques covering EPCOT on the Monorail arrows removed.
Painting is in progress at the Monorail station, and lighting fixtures can be seen on one side of the station underneath.
Props have been returned to the shelves in the corner next to Moana Mercantile, preparing to reopen.
