Magic Kingdom

- Crews placed more new bricks at the Liberty Square entrance in Magic Kingdom.
- Sonny Eclipse has gone missing from Cosmic Ray’s Starlight Cafe, leaving the stage empty.
- Part of the facade of “it’s a small world” has been damaged with the number “3” on the facade being partially broken off.
EPCOT

- A new manatee has moved into The Seas with Nemo & Friends at EPCOT as part of their short-term rehabilitation efforts.
- Coral Reef Restaurant has seen some ups and downs in terms of quality over the years. The EPCOT restaurant is located in The Seas pavilion and offers beautiful aquarium views, but the food hasn’t been the best in recent years. Read our review.
Disney’s Hollywood Studios

- A new shirt featuring Dinosaur Gertie is available at Walt Disney World.
- New scrim has been installed in the queue for Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster, blocking off the view of the Sunset Showcase Theater as work continues on the upcoming Disney Villains show at Disney’s Hollywood Studios.
- After we first spotted green scrim on the side of Sunset Showcase, the Cruz Ramirez and DJ cars have been removed from the courtyard. These are the first signs of construction for the new attraction.
Disney’s Animal Kingdom

- Directional signs at Disney’s Animal Kingdom that once guided guests toward “It’s Tough to Be a Bug” have now been removed, and more construction walls have gone up.
Walt Disney World Resort Hotels

- In honor of the purple martins that fly to Disney’s Saratoga Springs Resort each year, the hotel now offers purple martin plush.
New Merchandise

- Bobby Kim, co-founder of The Hundreds streetwear brand, has been named Vice President of Disney Creative Consumer Products.
Disneyland Resort

- Three new dining experiences were announced, including a Donald Duck buffet, a Star Wars dining experience, and another dining event for Paint the Night.
- The new Thumper popcorn bucket has arrived at Disneyland Resort for the 2025 Easter season.
Tokyo Disney Resort

- Tokyo Disney Resort is upcycling more Cast Member costumes to create special limited-time merchandise.
Disneyland Paris

- Disney revealed the completed scale model of the Pride Lands, a new Lion King land coming to Disneyland Paris, during Thursday’s shareholders meeting.
Disney Cruise Line

- A new National Geographic documentary about the making of Disney Cruise Line’s newest cruise ship, the Disney Treasure, will premiere next week.
Entertainment and Media

- John Leguizamo, the voice of Bruno from “Encanto,” says he’d “love to see a sequel” to the 2021 film.
- During Thursday’s Annual Meeting of Shareholders webcast, Disney CEO Bob Iger announced a sequel to Pixar’s “Coco.”
- Iger ignored the previously-announced Figment movie in answering a question about the character, but teased a possible Figment series. It was later teased by Disney Parks.
- The “Steamboat Willie” horror film immediately announced after the original Mickey short entered the public domain is coming to theaters in just a couple of weeks.

Universal Orlando Resort

- The Universal Stella Nova Resort gift shop has a series of new confections that will be sold at K. Rammelle in The Wizarding World of Harry Potter – Ministry of Magic at Epic Universe.
- Crews are constructing a new set of entrance signs for Universal Orlando Resort at the intersection of Kirkman Rd and Major Blvd / Tom Williams Wy.
- Construction continues at the currently closed On Location shop, with cement and spackle added to the exterior.
- An Instagram post shared by UOTMLife reveled more new costumes that will be worn by Team Members in Epic Universe.
- The Lone Palm Airport Bar at Universal CityWalk Orlando is currently closed for refurbishment and surrounded by construction walls.
The Walt Disney Company

- A new offer gives Disney Visa cardmembers a free dining plan when purchasing a non-discounted travel package for Walt Disney World.
- The Walt Disney Company Board of Directors revealed its slate of 10 nominees for election at the 2025 Annual Meeting of Shareholders. They were elected by a wide margin.
