Magic Kingdom
- Disney has filed permits to add what appear to be additional fireworks launch sites around the perimeter of the park, likely for the new “Disney Enchantment” nighttime spectacular.
- Some FastPass+ kiosks in Magic Kingdom have been uncovered, suggesting the line-skipping service may soon return.
- It looks like we’ll be able to dine on the old-fashioned hot dogs of Casey’s Corner in Magic Kingdom again soon as changes indicate the restaurant may be preparing to reopen.
- Over at TRON Lightcycle / Run, crew members installed a new piece of framing for the reentry tunnel to “The Grid.”
EPCOT
- We reported on the rumor that the Spaceship Earth refurbishment is back on schedule, and the attraction will close sometime in the next few months.
- Follow us around Future World and through the many countries of the World Showcase as we see what’s in store in a new photo report!
Disney’s Animal Kingdom
- We started our day at EPCOT to check in on the construction projects there, and then headed to Disney’s Animal Kingdom to see what new things we could find in the latest photo report!
Walt Disney World Resort Hotels
- We shared a first look of the reimagining concepts for Disney’s Contemporary Resort, featuring “The Incredibles”-themed rooms.
- Though exact details have not been announced, Disney has confirmed that The Wave… of American Flavors in Disney’s Contemporary Resort will receive a “reimagined dining experience.”
- It’s the summer of Stitch at the Disney Parks as the experiment continues to pop up all over the place and now a Stitch Dome Cake is available inside Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort at Capt. Cook’s.
- With so many amazing Resort hotels in the Disney Resorts Collection, it’s hard to know which one is right for your crew, so over the next few months, planDisney will introduce each resort through practically perfect pocket guides.
Other Walt Disney World News
- With the latest round of price increases for Disney Vacation Club properties comes the first direct price over $300.
- As of tomorrow, face masks will be optional for fully vaccinated Walt Disney World Cast Members working indoors.
Disneyland Resort
- Following the reopening of Main Street Cinema, 20th Century Music Company has also reopened on Main Street U.S.A. at Disneyland Park.
- Buzz Lightyear Astro Blasters will be reopening officially tomorrow, June 25th, but to our delight, the ride has soft opened one day early.
- While enjoying our time in Fantasyland, we came across Peter Pan, Wendy, and Captain Hook, who were out for a distanced meet and greet with guests.
- The Storybook Land Canal Boats also had a soft reopening today ahead of its full reopening on June 27.
- Walls went up around Toontown Five & Dime and Gag Factory earlier this year, and today, we saw crews actively demolishing the façades.
Disneyland Paris
- A cheese-centric food truck at the exit of Cars Road Trip at Walt Disney Studios Park “offering a fun-filled “pit-stop” for snacks created by the Disneyland Paris chefs with The Laughing Cow cheese” finally rolled into the park.
- Naturally, we had to stop by the new food truck and give the full menu a try!
- Just days after opening, a large art display promoting the E-Ticket thrill ride announced for California’s Avengers Campus has been taken down at the brand new Hotel New York – The Art of Marvel.
Hong Kong Disneyland
- “Follow Your Dreams” officially debuts next Wednesday, June 30, but previews of the show have begun and you can watch the full video now.
Entertainment and Media
- Disney and Marvel Studios have released a new trailer for the upcoming “Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings.”
The Walt Disney Company
- The Biggest Disney Fan Event of the year, Destination D23, is coming November 19–21, 2021, and will be held at Disney’s Contemporary Resort.
