Walt Disney World
Magic Kingdom
- Imagineer Zach Riddley has shared new Mary Blair-inspired concept art of Cinderella Castle decorated for Magic Kingdom’s 50th anniversary
- Come along with us for a photo report from our day at the Most Magical Place on Earth — the Magic Kingdom — during one of the busiest times of the year
- We reported last week that the first “earidescent” decorations were added to Cinderella Castle as preparations are underway for the 50th Anniversary of the Walt Disney World Resort and today, even more of the beautiful blue and gold décor was added to a turret towards the back of Cinderella Castle
- Construction continues on the frame for the illuminated canopy of TRON Lightcycle / Run and while the canopy itself is still months way from completion, the white puzzle-like frame is closer and closer to having its last piece installed
- We reported several days ago that the Tomorrowland Transit Authority PeopleMover was seen testing after several weeks of silence and today, Cast Members were seen doing more work on the attraction
- Checking in on the new track being laid at the Fantasyland Station, we saw that the rails and railroad ties we spotted last time are still staged on the platform but caution tape has been erected further down the track, where a railroad tie has been placed
EPCOT
- There was a major power outage at EPCOT affecting the entirety of The Land pavilion, The Seas with Nemo & Friends pavilion, and Test Track, but as of 1:19 p.m., all attractions were operating once more

- After an arduous demolition process, Innoventions West at EPCOT has now been fully demolished
- We found some new ground markers at EPCOT, urging guests to wear a mask while taking photos in front of various locations around the theme park, including in front of character topiaries
- Guests can now see Mickey and the gang in more than one place in EPCOT — not only can you catch them around World Showcase in “Mickey & Friends World Tour”, but they are also stepping out for a few minutes at a time near Spaceship Earth
Disney’s Hollywood Studios
- New signs have debuted at Disney’s Hollywood Studios as an increased safety precaution for the COVID-19 pandemic which add a limit of four guests per ground marking and to separate larger parties
Disney Springs
- In addition to the lineup of limited-time offerings celebrating St. Patrick’s Day at Walt Disney World, a special holiday donut is available now through March 17th at Everglazed Donuts & Cold Brew in Disney Springs
Walt Disney World Resort Hotels
- Today, we went to the Landscape of Flavors at Disney’s Art of Animation Resort to enjoy the latest holiday dessert, the Luck of Green Cupcake
Other Walt Disney World News
- The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) is reviewing a study that could reduce the recommendation for physical distancing from six feet to three feet
- A 51-year-old Palm Beach man has been charged with a felony and trespassed from Walt Disney World after he was accused of spitting on a security Cast Member who asked him to put on his mask, Orlando Sentinel reports
Disneyland Resort
- With “A Touch of Disney” beginning this week, new physical distancing ground markers have been put in place outside Disney California Adventure in preparation for the incoming crowds
- Disneyland has extended their Legacy Passholder discount to April 30 and will continue to extend it until a new membership program is announced, now available by way of special digital ticket within the Disneyland app
- It’s been a week full of exciting news in California, so we decided to end it off right at Disneyland Resort with this photo report
Tokyo Disney Resort
- Tokyo Disney Resort is currently implementing a strict 5,000 Guests-per-day capacity at both parks amid the State of Emergency declaration in Japan, so join us for this rare opportunity to walk around a nearly-empty Tokyo DisneySea on our YouTube channel

- A brand new rose gold Cinderella Castle Pandora charm and accompanying Mickey Mouse bracelet are available as a Disney Parks Exclusive at Walt Disney World
- The MSE-6 series repair droid popcorn bucket previously available at Kat Saka’s Kettle is now available at Ronto Roasters in Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge at Disney’s Hollywood Studios
- A brand new MagicBand walked across the stage and ended up at Walt Disney World — this Class of 2021 MagicBand is Limited Edition 1,000 and is available at the Emporium in the Magic Kingdom
