Magic Kingdom
- The first “EARidescent” decorations have been added to Cinderella Castle as preparations begin for “The World’s Most Magical Celebration” and now a second piece has been added on the other side of the castle
- In our photo report, the first 50th-anniversary turret decoration has been placed on Cinderella Castle, our favorite spring roll cart will remain open all week, and more
EPCOT
- The Harmonious barges at EPCOT will have water and lighting effects that will help comprise the brand new show set to debut sometime this year; one of the barges was seen testing its fountains today
- The Rose & Crown Dining Room in the U.K. Pavilion at EPCOT closed for a routine refurbishment in February of this year, but fans of bangers and mash can rejoice as the restaurant is now accepting reservations again beginning on March 21st
- We’ve been watching the facade of Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind at EPCOT slowly take shape, and now more wood paneling has been added to an untouched portion of framework, completely enclosing the facade

Disney’s Hollywood Studios

- Back in January, Hollywood Scoops at Disney’s Hollywood Studios started testing breakfast items in the morning, including drinks and cinnamon rolls; the drinks have now returned and are joined by a platter of “classic” Mickey waffles with a fruity twist
- A day after they were put up in Disney’s Hollywood Studios, the signs stating parties should split up and limit themselves to four guests per physical distancing marker have been removed
- The Droid Popcorn Bucket has returned, a Disney Parks-exclusive Pandora bracelet and charm have appeared, and more in our photo report
Disney’s Animal Kingdom
- In our photo report, we tried new St. Patrick’s Day Loaded Reuben Totchos, found a new adorable Yeti Spirit Jersey commemorating the 15th-anniversary of Expedition Everest, and more
Walt Disney World Resort Hotels
- A new 20% discount is available for most nights at Disney’s Fort Wilderness Campgrounds from April 11th through May 27th, 2021, including the campsites but not the Cabins at Fort Wilderness
- The first pillars connecting to the Great Ceremonial House have been erected as construction continues on the new Monorail station at Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort
Other Walt Disney World News
- Walt Disney World Annual Passholders will soon be receiving an Orange Bird magnet in the mail to celebrate the 2021 Taste of EPCOT International Flower & Garden Festival
- Walt Disney World Annual Passholders can now purchase 1-day water park tickets at a discounted price
Disneyland Resort
- We reported yesterday that the Disneyland Legacy Passholder discount is extended through a special ticket in the Disneyland app until April 30 and will continue to extend until the new membership program is announced and today, a flyer is being handed out to guests with instructions on how to validate their applicable Passholder discounts
- Earlier this month, a Raya and the Last Dragon mural designed by Imagineer Xiao Qing Chen debuted at Downtown Disney District and now Legacy Passholders can get a print signed by Qing when they take a photo at the mural
- Shouting, as an activity that may cause an increased spread of COVID-19, will need to be limited upon the reopening of California theme parks, including Disneyland Resort, according to new guidelines broken down by California Governor Newsom in his “Blueprint for a Safer Economy”
- Ralph Brennan’s Jazz Kitchen Express is serving up some mint chocolate chip beignets at the Disneyland Resort for St. Patrick’s Day, and you can read our review of the limited-time offering here
- After closing due to California’s stay-at-home order, the second Starbucks location at Downtown Disney District has reopened, a month after the first one’s reopening
- Marceline’s Confectionery at the Downtown Disney District has many fun sweets and treats and now they have a new Mickey marshmallow wand covered in chocolate and crushed cookie pieces, so we had to check it out
Tokyo Disney Resort
- Last October, the Oriental Land Company announced a full cancellation and refund for Annual Passports at Tokyo Disney Resort, and at the time, the refund program was given an open-ended run, but now end dates for the program have been announced
Hong Kong Disneyland
- Following another closure, Hong Kong Disneyland has finally reopened and is able to continue celebrating its 15th anniversary with new springtime offerings and guests can now catch the “Grand Birthday Celebration Moment” show in front of the park’s Main Street train station
New Merchandise
- A brand new MagicBand arrived at Walt Disney World just in time for spring, celebrating moms as you let her know you think she is the Sweetest Disney Mom
- In addition to the 2021 Disneyland Eggstravaganza taking place at the Downtown Disney District, a set of three “it’s a small world” Easter eggs celebrating the 55th anniversary of the attraction join in on the fun
- After recently spotting a Mary Blair-inspired Tervis tumbler, we’ve found a ladies tee and magnet inspired by the designer at Disney’s Contemporary Resort
- With new Limited Edition pins released at Walt Disney World today, you can celebrate Easter, be “Fine and Dandy” with Donald and Daisy Duck, or add another piece to your “Magic in the Stars” pin collection
- A brand new Minnie Mouse Ear Headband with shimmering hues of gold, pearlescent pink, and blue is available at the Disneyland Resort just in time for spring — and it looks eerily similar to the Annual Passholder Minnie Mouse Sequin Ear Headband sold at Walt Disney World
- Disneyland Resort has released two new limited edition pins: A Passholder-exclusive featuring Mickey eating some churros in front of “it’s a small world” and one featuring Donald feeling fortunate for St. Patrick’s Day
- The COACH x Keith Haring Mickey Mouse collection that was previously available online joins the lineup of new Daisy and Goofy collections at the COACH store in Disney Springs

- Isidore Mankofsky, who worked as the cinematographer for both The Muppet Movie and Walt Disney World’s MuppetVision 3D, has passed away at age 89
- The cinematic classic that started it all—Raiders of the Lost Ark—celebrates its 40th anniversary this year, having first introduced audiences to the man with the hat on June 12th, 1981, and now forty years later, the legendary hero continues to captivate new generations of fans with all four films available together for the first time on 4K Blu-ray with DOLBY VISION and HDR10 for ultra-vivid picture quality and state-of-the-art DOLBY ATMOS AUDIO
Disney+
- Marvel Studios’ The Falcon and The Winter Soldier premiered a new trailer, ramping up the excitement for Friday’s debut of the new original series on Disney+
- Disney+ had a hit month in March which included the finale of WandaVision and now the streaming service has announced its release schedule for April, making us excited for brand new feature films and another addition to the Marvel universe
- Directed by David Lowery (Pete’s Dragon) and produced by Jim Whitaker (Pete’s Dragon), production has officially begun on the live-action adventure/fantasy film Peter Pan & Wendy, which will premiere on Disney+ in 2022
