Magic Kingdom
- In the past few months, we’ve seen some physical distancing guidelines relax at theme parks and now at Walt Disney World, Cast Members are boarding up to three parties in one vehicle on boat rides
EPCOT
- Join us for a photo tour at EPCOT as we check out some new lighting being installed, some new merchandise that hit the shelves recently, and much, much more
- Despite the inclement weather in the Orlando area this weekend, construction is carrying on at EPCOT, where MouseGear is becoming “Creations Shop”, Club Cool is returning, and more projects are coming to fruition in the center of the park
- The weather is getting warmer and springtime is in the air, which brings a brand-new menu to EPCOT Farmers Feast as part of the 2021 Taste of EPCOT International Flower & Garden Festival
- Pin collectors, take note: beginning on Monday, April 19th, Pin Trading Headquarters will be closed for a short period at EPCOT
- We had, unfortunately, a fairly nasty day in store as we came up against severe thunderstorm warnings as part of a weather system which produced dangerous lightning and hail around the Central Florida area, but despite this, we managed about an hour of ‘dry time’ in the morning to take inventory of the various construction projects around the park and bring you this photo report
- With the bad weather out of the way, we came back to EPCOT for another day in the park and another fantastic photo report
Disney’s Animal Kingdom
- Just days ahead of Earth Day, there’s a new addition to the Kilimanjaro Safaris family at Disney’s Animal Kingdom: a baby mandrill named Ivy
Other Walt Disney World News
- The “Disney Look” for Cast Members has been updated, allowing them to wear “gender-inclusive hairstyles” and appropriate tattoos
- Following up on this, we got some more specific details about the new guidelines, along with examples
- Following the addition of watermarks to Walt Disney World attraction photos, it seems My Disney Experience may incorporate a new system for guests to preview attraction photos, and some guests using My Disney Experience are currently being asked to test this new preview
Disneyland Resort
- While Disneyland has been closed for the past year, Walt Disney Imagineering has updated “The Haunted Mansion” to include some old and new effects and thanks to the LA Times, we have some more details about what guests can expect to see upon reopening
- When Disneyland finally reopens to guests on April 30th, the King Arthur Carrousel will spin for the first time since January 2020 with a boldly refreshed color scheme
Tokyo Disney Resort
- The Happy Fair with Baymax is finally on at Tokyo Disneyland, so there’s décor all over Tomorrowland to celebrate this one-time mini-event, and we have your full tour right here
- And the centerpiece of this mini-event is the new Happy Fair Lab meet & greet experience with Baymax, which you can take a tour of right here
Disneyland Paris
- While Cars Road Trip gets ready to welcome guests when Disneyland Paris reopens sometime “down the road,” we’ve got a new look at one of the scenes featured in the new attraction coming to Walt Disney Studios Park
Disney Cruise Line
- U.S. Senators have introduced legislation that would override the Centers for Disease Control’s (CDC) current cruise guidelines, which include test voyages, vaccination plans, and agreements with ports and local health authorities before cruise lines would be able to resume operations
Aulani, A Disney Resort & Spa
- As announced on the Disney Parks Blog, Moana of Motunui is returning to greet guests at Aulani, A Disney Resort & Spa in Hawai’i
New Merchandise
- Whether you’re getting ready for Disneyland’s next Dapper Day outing or just going to work, these new Pixar and Tomorrowland themed ties available at Downtown Disney District are perfect for any occasion

- According to The Vulcan Reporter, Star Wars fans may be in for a surprise on May 4th, when the long shelved animated series, “Star Wars: Detours”, finally makes its debut on Disney+
