Magic Kingdom
- While the refurbishment of the Coca-Cola Cool Ship and Cool Scanner was completed last month, we noticed today that the Cool Scanner and its mist jets are back in action.
- Also, the refurbishment of Tomorrowland marches on in the Magic Kingdom, with even more of the 1994 “gear” pavement being replaced as the land receives a new look.
EPCOT
- We noticed that the flags representing the Imagination Pavilion have been temporarily removed from the entrance to EPCOT.
- We also reported that the Space Race lab has reopened at the Mission: SPACE Advanced Training Lab.
- We gave you a glimpse at the interior mural, the new construction walls, and more for the Creations Shop opening soon.
- In other construction news, we noted that the structure at the site of Journey of Water, an upcoming walkthrough attraction at EPCOT inspired by Moana, is now fully enclosed in concrete.
- We also reported that, more paneling was added to the roof of Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind.
- Finally, we were also happy to see that everyone’s favorite troll has returned to his original spot, front and center of the main entrance, inside of the Norway pavilion’s The Fjording shop.
Walt Disney World Resort Hotels
- In resort refurbishment news, the lobby on the first floor of Disney’s Contemporary Resort will close temporarily beginning July 16 as part of its continued reimagining.

- We also reported today that TikTok users are now going viral with a “free shirt hack” at Walt Disney World.
Disneyland Paris
- A photo and video report gave you a look inside The Avengers Suite at Disney’s Hotel New York — The Art of Marvel.
- We also toured one of the hotel’s standard rooms, which is not themed, but has similarities to the Empire State Club Room.

- We spotted a new Cinderella Castle belt buckle in the Emporium today on Main Street, U.S.A in Magic Kingdom.
Entertainment and Media
- In entertainment news, we reported that the moniker of Slave 1, one of the most iconic names to come out of the Star Wars Universe, is being retired, making way for Boba Fett’s Starship.
