- Santa Goofy has taken over for the big guy himself at the Odyssey Pavilion, and also in the cavalcade at Disney’s Hollywood Studios.
Disney’s Hollywood Studios
- From now through mid-January, “Fantasmic!” will be performing twice a night to handle anticipated crowds.
- Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster will be going down for a multi-month extended refurbishment next year.
Walt Disney World Resort Hotels
- The new Carousel Coffee, the latest in bland Disney hotel design, opened today at Disney’s BoardWalk Inn.
- We naturally also had to try the new cookies and the Cinnamon Bun Frozen Blended Coffee available at Carousel Coffee.
- The Electrical Water Pageant is finally being performed in its full form once more after urgent repairs were made.
New Merchandise
- New Disney Skyliner toys we found today feature Donald Duck and family, “Finding Nemo,” and the Guardians of the Galaxy, all now available at EPCOT.
- The farewell to the Walt Disney World 50th Anniversary celebration has already begun with a new “I Was Part of the Magic” pin we found today.
- Two new limited release MagicBand+ themed to “Hercules” and Snow White are now available.
- A new mystery pin set and limited release pin commemorating 30 years since “The Muppet Christmas Carol” are now on sale at Walt Disney World.
- Speaking of pins, we also found four new “Peter Pan” pins depicting iconic moments from the film at Disney’s Contemporary Resort.
Other Walt Disney World Resort News
- The first three Disney After Hours events slated for 2023 have already sold out!
- Not only are the boats at “it’s a small world” filthy, we found grime and mold in places like PeopleMover ride vehicles and on show elements in Toy Story Land.
Disneyland Resort
- Disney Genie+ has sold out for the very first time at either resort, and two days in a row at that!
- A former Disney Imagineer once pitched a “Gravity Falls” attraction for Disneyland Park.
Tokyo Disney Resort
- Tokyo Disney Resort has revealed their refurbishment calendar through August of 2023, with lots of work coming in particular to Tokyo Disneyland.
Entertainment & Media
- A mere two weeks after opening, “Avatar: The Way of Water” became the fastest movie in 2022 to cross $1 billion worldwide.
The Walt Disney Company
- A new patent from Disney has been revealed, showing a WEB Tech-like item which can interact with theme park attractions.
