Walt Disney World

• We spotted a Disney Skyliner water evacuation boat this week near the Art of Animation/Pop Century station
• Select table service restaurants across Walt Disney World are now offering a 20% Annual Passholder lunch discount

Magic Kingdom

Epcot

Disney Springs

Art of Animation

• Work is continuing on the Art of Animation lobby reflooring and refurbishment project

Contemporary Resort

• Disney Vacation Club members are invited to a special Fourth of July celebration at Top of the World Lounge in the Contemporary

Coronado Springs Resort

The Cove, a Swan and Dolphin Resort Hotel

• The canceled Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge dinner show will be coming to Disney World’s Star Wars hotel, according to hotel plans

Disneyland Resort

• The installation of the pedestrian bridge over at the Pixar Pals parking structure has begun, and we also spotted some greenery planted this week too. We also learned that the bridge is expected to be accessible from September 2019

Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge

• Docking Bay 7 Food and Cargo have now started distributing regular silverware instead of those amazing themed sporks
• Disney released a set of guidelines on “proper attire” within Galaxy’s Edge

Disneyland Park

• Work on the Inside Out Emotional Whirlwind attraction is progressing smoothly, with the attraction sign, characters and decals now installed on the ride
• The permit has been issued for the construction of the Spider-Man attraction at Disney California Adventure, with the foundations and structural beams now erected

Disneyland Paris

• Disneyland Paris released an amazingly detailed must-watch documentary into the history, design and legend of the Phantom Manor

New Merchandise

• The June installment of the Disney Wisdom collection was released this weekend, with this month’s series featuring Lumiere and his uplifting words from Beauty & the Beast
• There’s two new Disney color trends on the spectrum this month, and those are Imagination Pink and Magic Mirror Metallic! The newest collections are now available in Disney parks and on shopDisney, so make sure you check those out

• Also from the Imagination Pink range is this new open edition MagicBand which we spotted in the Magic Kingdom
• The new Disney Cats Dooney & Bourke line has arrived in the parks and on shopDisney, featuring our favorite animated felines
• There’s a new set of Briar Rose Gold Minnie Ear Headbands in the parks… for pets!
• These new traceless hair ties have arrived in Disneyland, featuring character and attraction charms
• Move over, ears, as these oversized Minnie bow headbands are coming soon to the Disney parks
• This absolutely adorable Dug Loungefly backpack has arrived at the Disneyland resort
• This new ‘Faith, Trust and Pixie Dust’ Tinker Bell Alex and Ani bracelet has fluttered into the Magic Kingdom this week
• These new stationery sets are now available on shopDisney, featuring Peter Pan, Alice in Wonderland and Stitch
• We got some clearer images of the “Illuminations: Reflections of the Earth” farewell merchandise coming this summer to Epcot
• How cute are these mini shoulder Porg plushes which are now available at the Disney Parks

Movies

• The dark and magical first official trailer has been released for Frozen 2
• Watch this new featurette for Toy Story 4, featuring Tom Hanks and Tim Allen on being best friends for the movie
• Alaska Airlines have unveiled a special-edition aircraft, featuring artwork from Toy Story 4

Television

• The logo has been revealed for the Monsters At Work spinoff series coming to Disney+
• Also for Disney+, a new Chip ‘n’ Dale animated series has been announced

Gaming

• In gaming news, LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga has been announced, featuring every adventure from all nine episodes
• Also, the Kingdom Hearts III Re:Mind DLC trailer has landed, with the game slated for a winter 2019 release
• We also got our first look at Marvel’s Avengers, due to be released May 2020

Events

• The Star Wars Celebration will be returning to Anaheim in August 2020, with tickets going on sale on June 21
• Check out all the limited edition merchandise which has been announced for the D23 Expo in August

WDWNT News

• Tickets are now available for WDWNT’s Reflections of Forever event, the premier fan event for the farewell to the amazing nighttime spectacular which is “IllumiNations: Reflections of Earth”
